The B&C Interactive Painters are web-based tools designed to allow users to test and share colour schemes for Warhammer 40K armies. Each army painter features an image drawn by the B&C's resident artist Madscuzzy that can be digitally painted using the software engine developed by B&C owner Brother Argos.

To begin painting just left-click on the image where you'd like to change the colour. When you click on the image you'll be offered a variety of ways to choose the new colour: select a colour from the near infinite palette choices; enter a specific colour value or choose to use one of GW's colours with the 'Choose Colour' tool. You can also copy'n'paste colours by Ctrl-clicking colours to copy and Shift-clicking to paste.

Each painter image is split into a number of discrete areas, you can see which area you're colouring from the pop-up tool over an area or at the top of the colour choice box when you click it. This allows for each image to be customised to your exact tastes and allows you to create split-scheme Space Marines, camouflaged Imperial Guard and more. The Interactive Painters also allow you to cache images for later use, just click on the thumbnail next to the painter to save a new image. Clear thumbnails by Shift-clicking and left click full ones to load them. To use your image on the B&C hit 'Use the Image on the B&C' and copy the code to post to the forums quickly and easily. Alternatively save your work via the 'Download the Image' tool and upload it to your own webspace to share it on other sites.
